Scholar Craft's 450 and 550 Series Chair Desks are designed around our proven 3/8" Solid Plastic 150 Series Chair.  Frames incorporate heavy-duty, 16-gauge steel legs with crossover design and continuous-tube, twin 14-gauge steel back supports. The 450 and 550 Series differ only in their writing surface designs and supports.  The 450 is built with a generous tablet arm writing surface with wrap-around steel brace.  The 550 Series has a trapezoid design writing surface.  Tubular steel frames with high-pressure laminate or solid-plastic desktops (right- or left-handed) make them very durable, they come in two popular seat heights. Optional Sled bases, book baskets and a variety of colors make them perfect for any environment.  (colors options below)

Scholar Craft's 480 and 580 Series are the highest quality, most durable chair desks in the industry.  Both designs start with our 180 Series Solid-Plastic chair.  The 5/8" Melamine Resin seats and backs on these chair desks are all but indestructible.  And their frames incorporate our incredibly strong 16-guage crossover design. On the 580 Series, we install a trapezoid writing surface constructed with 14-gauge double steel supports.  The tablet arm writing surface compliments our 480 Series. Both models are available in a range of complimentary colors and can be ordered in a left-handed version. (color options above)

Scholar Craft's 420 Series and 520 Series Poly Shell Chair Desk have been designed to cut costs-not corners. Both units start with our popular 120 Series Chair. These chair desks have one-piece bodies of injection-molded, heavy-duty, high-density linear polyethylene. Our crossover leg design ensures rigidity and stability. Horizontal riveting of the integral ribs to the frame eliminates exposed rivets and rivet pull out. The 520 Series incorporates a trapezoid design writing surface supported by a 1 1/4" 14-gauge tubular steel tablet arm support and 11-gauge steel brackets.  A tablet arm writing surface compliments the 420 Series.  Support is provided by a 14-gauge tubular steel tablet arm support and a 16-gauge tubular steel wraparound brace. Available with a sled base, book basket, and a wide array of colors.
