Scholar Craft is renowned for manufacturing desks of unparalleled quality and value.  Our desks are designed with high-carbon, 16-gauge tubular swaged steel legs.  These 22"-29" height adjustable legs are individually nickel-chromed and MIG welded for added beauty, strength and durability, and are availble with either a black or chrome upper.  The book boxes are manufactured of strong 20-gauge steel and are available in numerous colors.  Their embossed bottoms dampen noise and increase their rigidity.  On our open front designs, the rolled edges are wire-reinforced for added strength, safety and good looks. Optional u-brace provides added stability. (color options below)

The 2900 consists of 1 1/4" 16-gauge tubular chromed-steel cross-braced and MIG welded to the U-shaped upper legs.

Scholar Craft's 7800 Series Pedestal Desks are a beautiful combination of form and function. The distinctive pedestal frames are made of heavy-gauge rectangular steel. Adjustable legs let you tailor the height to your students and their chairs. The strong steel book boxes have ample room for texts and supplies. Oversized high-pressure laminate or solid-plastic desktops stand up to years of use. The 7950 Series features a space saving 48" wide work surface with the same great leg construction as the 7800 series with a 1 1/4" HPL top.  The 7950's book box is constructed of a lightweight polyethylene with molded reinforcements.

2400 Series Adjustable Open Front ClearView Desks

The Clearview Compartment on this innovative desk is constructed of 5/16" nickel-chromed solid-steel rods.  With this design, whatever is placed in the compartment is visible to both the student and the teacher.  As a result, it's difficult to leave or forget books or study materials in the Clearview.  It's also very difficult to conceal any object. And the oversized work surface is up to 14% larger than than the tops found on comparable models.

Solid, self-supporting and adjustable, our 2400 Series Desks are constructed with 16-gauge legs and dual bolt attachments for added security.

1560 Series Adjustable Master Scholar Desks

The 1560 Series is the ideal desk for children of all ages and sizes, its huge 18'' x 36'' top gives children generous work space with room for a laptop plus books or notebooks. The rugged tubular steel frames feature adjustable legs that let you tailor the height to your students and their chairs. (Legs adjust from 22'' to 29'' in one inch increments)  High-pressure laminate or solid-plastic desktops make them very durable. Modesty panels are included, and the spacious, vertical book boxes can be mounted on either side for maximum flexibility in the classroom.  The vertical book box incorporates a multipurpose supply tray, recessed pencil groove and lower compartment built to hold even the largest loose leaf binder in a vertical or horizontal position.

2700/ 2800 Series Adjustable Lift Lid Desks

The 2800 Series is manufactured with a lift-lid book box constructed of heavy-duty, 20-gauge steel with rolled edges for added strength and safety.  The writing surface/lid is 18" x 24" and is attached with a quality, full width piano hinge.  Two spring  hinges and rubber bumper cushions assure safe, secure and quiet operation even by young students. When storage is not a requirement, Scholar Craft's 2700 Series offers you the same construction quality as the 2800 Series minus the book box.  The 2700 and 2800 Series are both adjustable in height from 22" to 29" in one-inch increments and come with fiberboard or optional solid plastic tops.
